Produce Fair Trade Masks with our Social Enterprise Partner in Nepal
Masks from our Social Enterprise Partner
We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with our Fair Trade Nepali manufacturing partner to offer masks made from deadstock fabric that’s either leftover from production or from cancelled orders.
When COVID-19 hit Nepal, this factory jumped into action and developed their v2 masks to provide hospital staff and key workers suffering from PPE shortages. They’re now serving international communities and SupplyCompass is excited to be able to offer them.
Over 10 stock colour options to chose from. Personalise your mask with custom branding (either printing or labelling). All masks are made from deadstock or organic fabric (or both). The inside of the masks are black to minimise appearance of dirt.
Masks That Make an Impact
By purchasing the masks, whether for your workforce returning to work or as an additional offering to your customers, you have the chance to support a social enterprise not only providing sustainable livelihoods but also offering masks at a subsidized rate for those in need locally.
How they incorporate sustainability
90% of Nepal’s total electricity generation capacity is generated by hydropower plants, which means the factory is almost completely powered by renewable energy. Almost all waste material from the factory is either re-used in production projects or collected by local scrap collectors to be re-used or used as stuffing for mattresses.
