About SupplyCompass
Produce better, together.
SupplyCompass is an end-to-end fashion software that reimagines how brands and manufacturers find each other and work together.
We digitalise product development, sourcing and production management, enabling all players in the value chain to collaborate in real-time, gain full visibility over orders, and drive efficiencies. The result? Better relationships, better quality products, less stress, and reduced uncertainty.
The time for change is now
As we emerge post-COVID-19, we have an opportunity to re-think the fashion system into one that works for people, planet and profit. Given the size, growth and impact of the fashion industry, it’s time for action.
We believe that real change and transformation of the industry will only happen with a combination of technology and collaboration. We need to rethink our systems, change our mindsets, rapidly adopt new ways of working, and collaborate rather than compete so we can build a better future together.
Our vision
To transform how products are designed and produced and set a new gold standard, with collaboration, efficiency and sustainability at the heart.
Why?
The current sourcing model isn’t sustainable for people or the planet. At SupplyCompass, we believe that real change can only happen through a combination of technology and collaboration. We’re building the new operating system for global supply chains, right from design through to delivery, and setting a new gold standard with sustainability at the very heart.
Meet us
In 2016, our founders moved from London to Mumbai to start SupplyCompass. They lived in India for 2 years to build the business on the ground, spending much of their time on the road researching and visiting 300+ manufacturers and suppliers. Their mission since the start has been simple: reimagine and redesign a new way of sourcing, one that works for people and the planet.
They believe that to transform how goods are designed and produced, full digitisation of supply chains is the only way forward, but that this alone will not be successful unless done in collaboration with suppliers and underpinned by strong supply chain relationships, made and maintained in person.
“Climate change crisis is not imminent. It’s already here. As a citizen of this planet, I am extremely worried about where we are heading. Fashion is amongst the most polluting industries in the world. It urgently needs to have environmental and ethical constraints. What excites me is the challenge to rethink the whole system from the ground up and build it with my team.”
“Sustainability for me means meeting your needs without affecting the ability for peers and future generations to meet their needs.”
“Sustainability is a forward way of thinking about your daily life. The time for change has come and it’s now that you can make a difference.”
“For me, sustainability means making changes across all aspects of life – from buying second hand, eating in season, trading in cars and the tube for my bike, and embracing the sharing economy! I love that working for SupplyCompass we are helping more brands with their journey towards producing this responsibly sourced clothing. I would like to see more brands focusing on sustainability during design development, designing to both minimise waste and to ensure garments can be recycled effectively at the end of their life. “
“For me, sustainability is about making better choices with what we have available to us. It’s about reminding ourselves of the chain of people who worked so that you can buy a new tee at the click of a button – and making sure they are never exploited in any way.”
“For me, sustainability means minding our own business without damaging the environment.”
“Building supply chain networks with our sustainability leaders in the East and helping brands implement responsible practices into their company DNA is what makes me tick. Improving transparency up and down the supply chain allows brands to take accountability for the impact their products have and empowers them to make better decisions.”
“The best way to contribute as individuals is to think globally and act locally. We need to participate in the reevaluation of economic sectors to make a step forward into sustainable living.”
“Sustainability is more than a buzzword, often immorally attached to false promises and greenwashing. For me, it represents a responsibility we all have to do better for people and the planet. This means rethinking outdated systems and reimagining what it means to be authentic and accountable as individuals and businesses.”
“I am a curious person who loves to see what life has to offer him. For me, sustainability is a way of life where people live in peace with the world around them. This is what gave me the first best impression of SupplyCompass which is working hard to give the best output which is also environmentally friendly.”
“Sustainability, to me, is an ever-evolving term that looks at social, economic, environmental and cultural indicators in a holistic way. In simpler terms, it is simply a way of life or being and I hope to see it become a norm and not a differentiator in the fashion industry.”
“Sustainability is the ability to continue a defined behaviour indefinitely by living your values, acting with integrity, responsibility and generosity.”
“Things have to change, and we’re paving the way for this sustainable fashion movement with the work we’re doing at SupplyCompass. This makes me immensely proud.”
“For me Sustainability means, providing the best without damaging anything.”
“As a designer, I always felt a moral gap between how the industry works and my belief in sustainability. It’s wonderful to see how this is now becoming a mainstream topic and a necessity for brands to adopt. With technology speeding things up, I am hopeful for what the future will bring.”
“To drive more businesses towards sustainability, it has to become profitable, while keeping people and planet at the heart of it. This is where technology plays a key role – we can unlock networks within the supply chain to give access to materials, synergies and better processes.”
“I believe we need to take sustainability to heart and begin looking at our energy infrastructure and planning ways to make the move from our current fossil-fuel-based system to renewable.”
